| Operating Temperature |
-20°C to +60°C
Features
- Spiked armor guard — raised tooth-like ridges form a protective cage around the dial. Absorbs side impacts, prevents the gauge from rolling on slanted surfaces, and gives you a secure grip with wet or gloved hands. The plastic shell won't dent, rust, or corrode.
- 3-color safety zone — green (safe), yellow (caution), red (danger). Before you even focus on the numbers, the color tells you if you're in the clear. Essential for fast-paced tire shop work where every second counts.
- Dual bar & PSI scale — black bar scale on the outer ring (0–12), red PSI scale on the inner ring (0–170). Conversion formula printed directly on the dial: "1 bar = 100 kPa." No calculator, no guesswork.
- Tempered glass lens — unlike polycarbonate lenses that scratch easily and turn yellow from solvent exposure, tempered glass stays clear year after year. Resists impact from flying debris in active work environments.
- Bottom brass thread — the gold-tone brass fitting threads directly onto spray gun air inlets, tire chuck adapters, and regulator ports. Precision-cut threads engage smoothly without cross-threading.
- Silver rivet dial mounting — two visible silver rivets secure the dial face, indicating a robust internal construction designed for repeated pressure cycling.
Typical Applications
- Automotive tire inflation and pressure checks
- Spray gun and airbrush pressure regulation
- Pneumatic nailer, stapler, and riveter air lines
- Portable air compressor outlet monitoring
- Workshop and garage air tool setups
- Industrial tire service equipment
Installation Notes
- Screw directly onto the spray gun inlet or tire chuck fitting.
- Apply 3–4 wraps of thread seal tape for a clean seal.
- Hand-tighten first, then use a wrench on the hex section — avoid overtightening.
- Optimal working range: 2–9 bar (green to yellow zone). If readings consistently hit the red zone (above 10 bar), your system may require a higher-range gauge.
- To clean: wipe the shell and glass with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh solvents on the plastic armor.
What's in the Box
